Yesterday Niamh, our Classroom Assistant, read us the story of the Paper Dolls by Julian Donaldson. We listened carefully for verbs, adverbs and rhyming words. We then created our own Paper Dolls in groups of five. Once our Paper Dolls were complete we gave them names in the same rhyming style as Julian Donaldson. We used alliteration for the first two characters and rhyme for the other characters. All our characters are so different and unique. Just like us!
